The stuff on ArtLark is always immensely interesting, and this article on Marie Laveau, the voodoo queen of New Orleans, is no exception. Having lived in New Orleans years ago I’m very familiar with the almost mystical power Laveau still exerts on the curious culture of that city. She’s definitely one of the most colorful and interesting characters in the city’s history, and this look at her legacy is quite worth reading. Well done!
