Rare Byzantine grape seeds found in Israel has given us hope of a new Negev wine?

I love whenever Robert Horvat posts something about Byzantium, but this article is near and dear to my heart for another reason…wine! The amazing discovery of grape seeds from Byzantine times poses a fascinating historical and oeneological question: what would it be like to drink wine as it was made 1500 years ago? Modern science may be able to give us exactly that experience. Cool post!
