The Aqueduct of Valens

On the History of the Byzantine Empire blog, Robert Horvat has another terrific article on the late Roman/early Byzantine world. This one focuses on the Aqueduct of Valens, a feat of both engineering and architecture notable in its day, and which had an interesting effect on environmental history. Some great photos too!
